Tommaso Ciampa is officially out of WWEand the company just confirmed it publicly.
On January 27, 2026, WWE quietly moved Ciampa to the Alumni section of its official roster page, confirming that his time with the company is officially over. While Ciampa had already revealed his departure earlier this month, the update on WWE.com leaves no doubt: hes done.
The move comes just after Ciampa began aggressively launching his post-WWE identity, kicking off with a fresh batch of merchandise on his Pro Wrestling Tees store. He dropped five new T-shirt designs and a hoodie under the names Psycho Killer and Psycho Kid, showing a clear brand direction for his next chapter.
This branding appears to be no coincidence. On January 21, Ciampa filed trademarks for Psycho Killer and Psycho King, suggesting these names will define his new persona moving forward in and out of the ring.
The Psycho Killer moniker isnt new to longtime Ciampa followersit traces back to his indie rootsbut the timing of the merch drop, trademarks, and roster removal all point to a carefully planned exit and reset.
When announcing his departure, the 40-year-old veteran thanked WWE and made it clear that hes far from done in pro wrestling. Ciampa also declared he has another decade left in the ring, and opened himself up to bookings across the board: appearances, signings, seminars, media, and more.
