WWE is going all in for Royal Rumble 2026and it might be their biggest production in Saudi Arabia ever.
According to PWInsider, there was backstage chatter during this weeks episode of WWE RAW that the production plans for the Royal Rumble are on the level of WrestleMania. That kind of comparison doesnt get thrown around lightly, especially for a show that isnt even part of WWEs traditional Big Four rotationuntil now.
The Royal Rumble is set to go down on January 31 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and WWE isnt just setting up a ring in an existing stadium. They built their own. From scratch.
That level of investment now makes even more sense, with sources saying this could be the most elaborate WWE production ever staged in Saudi Arabia. Internally, the entire setup is being treated like a global showcase for the company.
This comes after fans got their clearest look yet at the venue earlier this week. Twitter user Mohammed Waheed posted a series of photos and a video on January 26 showing major progress at the sitecomplete with a finished roof, lighting rigs, LED systems, and the massive Royal Rumble logo in place. He wrote:
That followed an earlier leak from January 18 when Mohammed Mansour revealed the foundations were being laid. At the time, it was confirmed that WWE wasnt just renting a spacethey were literally building a temporary custom venue in the middle of Riyadhs King Abdullah Financial District.
Ticket sales began before the arena was even shown to the public, and demand has skyrocketed. According to internal metrics, Royal Rumble 2026 is already WWEs most in-demand live event ever.
With the venue almost finished and production crews finalizing every detail, all eyes are now on whether WWE can truly deliver a WrestleMania-caliber spectacle outside of the U.S.
