Independent wrestler Jose Zamora is calling out Logan Paul for allegedly swiping a unique in-ring concept and claiming it as his ownand hes got receipts.
On January 23, Zamora posted a detailed Twitter video accusing Logan of ripping off his long-running micd up gimmick, which he says hes been using on the independent scene for over a year and a half. The timing of the callout came shortly after Logan Paul posted a clip from his January 19 RAW match with the caption: First micd up WWE Superstar But Zamora was quick to push back on that claim.
He then brought receiptsincluding a screenshot showing Logans videographer liking and commenting on Zamoras original micd up content months before Logan used it on WWE television. Zamora also pointed to a specific comment made by another wrestler to Logans videographer, which was liked as well. Zamora explained that he wasnt trying to start a hate campaign but simply wanted credit for something hes been building from the ground up.
Instead, Zamora used the moment to highlight his roots, his fight through adversity, and his mission to represent Puerto Rico on a global stage.
Currently sidelined with a shoulder injury that requires surgery, Zamora announced hell be out for five months. But he promised to return with one goal in mind.
To make things even messier, Logan Pauls first ever claim didnt just upset indie fansit also triggered Twitters community note system. The post was flagged with the following correction:
So not only is Zamora calling him outbut wrestling history isnt on Logans side either. This isnt the first time Logan Paul has been accused of copying creators or performers, but it might be one of the most detailed accusations yet, with timestamps, comments, and trademark claims all backing Zamoras side.
What do you think? Is Jose Zamora justified in calling out Logan Paul for copying the micd up ideaor is this just wrestlings version of parallel thinking? Let us know where you stand in the comments.
