While speaking on the Krazy Train podcast with Jasmin St. Claire, the multi-time Knockouts Champion admitted that despite her 17-year career, she only got one action figure and it wasnt from WWE.
The long-overdue recognition came during her run in TNA, where someone behind the scenes stepped up and made it happen. Gail didnt name names, but it was clear that someone had to push for her to finally get the respect she deserved in plastic form.
And its not just Gail who was overlooked. She revealed that Jazz a former WWE Womens Champion and ECW standout never got an action figure, calling the omission flat-out insulting.
Gail and Jazz were part of the generation that broke barriers for womens wrestling, yet licensing and merch deals didnt seem to catch up. For fans who grew up watching these pioneers, the fact that they were left off the shelf feels like a massive oversight.
In an industry where legacy often comes with merchandising deals, its wild to think that two trailblazing women like Gail Kim and Jazz were barely represented. Their in-ring work spoke for itself but for years, the collectibles market stayed silent. At least TNA stepped up when others didnt.
