WWE fans know that the Royal Rumble is the start to the road to WrestleMania. That gives this time of the year a special feeling, and you never know what they will announce next.
The WWE Raw on January 19, 2026, went down at The SSE Arena in Belfast, Northern Ireland. This was a fun show for fans worldwide, including U.S. viewers who got an early look this week.
Rhea Ripley and IYO Sky came out this week during the shows second hour. Then they announced that, after they defend the Womens Tag Team Titles against Judgment Day at Saturday Nights Main Event on January 24, theyre going to be in the Royal Rumble match.
After that, Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez came out and made it clear that they will win the titles from IYO Sky and Rhea Ripley. Then it was revealed that Liv, Roxanne, and Raquel Rodriguez will all be in the 2026 Womens Royal Rumble match too.
The Royal Rumble will go down on August 31 in Saudi Arabia. This will be an early event as it takes place around the globe. Obviously, a lot of eyes will be on the match when everything is said and done.
Rhea Ripley and IYO Sky are great Womens Tag Team Champions. Only time will tell if one of them will be celebrating in Saudi Arabia next Saturday.
