The WWE Raw on January 19, 2026, went down at The SSE Arena in Belfast, Northern Ireland. This was a very fun show for fans all around the world, even those in the USA who got the show a bit early this week. This was also a big night for the World Heavyweight Championship.
During todays episode of WWE Raw, the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match took place as CM Punk faced Finn Balor of The Judgment Day.
This was a huge match for Finn Balor in Ireland. It also gave CM Punk a rare singles match on Monday.
This match was the main event of the show. Much to everyones surprise, Finn Balor didnt have the Judgment Day with him. That being said, the fans were very much behind them as Balor wrestled in his home country. CM Punk had a ton of cheers as the crowd was split at time.
Fans sang songs like the Cranberries Zombie and cheered along with every move of this match. When Finn Balor won a slug out in the middle of the ring with a Pele Kick, everyone in the Belfast arena popped.
Finn Balor was able to kick out of a GTS, and that shocked CM Punk to no end. Eventually, Balor was able to hit a Coup De Gras, but Punk kicked out of that. After they were finisher for finisher, fans in Ireland knew the match could end at any second.
In the end, CM Punk would get the pin to put an end to Finn Balors title chase. Balor came close, but Punk was able to overcome in Ireland.
