According to a January 15, 2026 report from Insider Gaming, WWE 2K26 is scheduled for release in March 2026, and the games Showcase Mode will feature a deep dive into CM Punks career, fully narrated by Punk himself. Sources revealed that the mode will be split into three distinct sections.

First, players will relive several of Punks most iconic matches from his WWE career, offering a playable timeline of the Best in the World at his peak. The second section will present What If? scenariosalternate history matches exploring what couldve happened had Punk never left WWE in 2014. Finally, the Showcase Mode will include fantasy matchups that never happened in real life, letting fans book dream clashes involving Punk and opponents he never had the chance to face.

The report adds to a recent report from Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer, who revealed on January 14 that WWE secretly filmed the WWE 2K26 reveal commercial back in December. While theres no official trailer yet, many expect the first look to drop during the Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia on January 31.
