CM Punk may be no stranger to pain inside the wrestling ring, but his latest horror movie role put him through a whole different kind of torturethis time involving gallons of fake blood, a chest rig, and one unforgettable night on set.
During an interview promoting Night Patrol with Josh Wilding, Punk described what it was like filming a violent vampire attack scene alongside Justin Long. The moment, which sees Punks character getting viciously chewed on, ended up being one of the most physically grueling things hes ever doneon or off screen. He didnt hold back when explaining just how intense the shoot got:
Rather than cut and reset, Punk powered through for the sake of the shotonly to collapse immediately after.
Punk also recalled how his childhood fascination with making fake blood at home quickly turned into something far less enjoyable once he was drenched in the stuff for hours.
Between brutal matches and brutal movies, CM Punk is proving that no matter the medium, hes still willing to suffer for the story.
Would you be able to handle a scene like that? Or do you think Punks wrestling background gives him an edge? Drop your thoughts below.
