Theres a major new update on WrestleMania 43 and Saudi Arabias wish list includes two of the biggest names in wrestling history.
On the latest episode of The Final Bell podcast, Andrew Baydala revealed that officials in Riyadh are pushing hard to secure both The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin for WrestleMania 43, set for 2027. While theres no indication they would face each other, Saudi stakeholders are reportedly aiming to bring both Attitude Era legends to the event.
Baydala doubled down on the hesitation from Rocks side, noting that while hes in talks, the commitment isnt guaranteed especially if his film schedule ramps up.
This follows Baydalas earlier January 2 report, where he made it clear The Rock wont be wrestling at WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas but the focus has already shifted to WrestleMania 43 in Saudi Arabia.
At this point, its unknown what roles Austin and The Rock would play whether its matches, special appearances or something entirely different. But the message is clear: Saudi Arabia wants a nostalgia-fueled mega-event, and theyre willing to spend big to make it happen.
