The match, which aired during the first hour of NXT: New Years Evil on January 6, featured Jacy Jayne defending her title against Grey in a hard-hitting bout. Grey held her own early, even wiping out Jaynes factionFallon Henley and Lainey Reidwith a high-risk dive to the outside.
