The pro wrestling world saw Sting retire from in-ring competition, but his son is now here to carry on that legacy. Steve Borden Jr is now taking on the squared circle, and ROH played host for him.

During the ROH television tapings this week, Steven Borden, the son of Sting, wrestled again as his in-ring activity continued to draw attention. He took on Jon Cruz in the tapings prior to AEW Collision this week.

Borden had previously competed in a dark match before AEW Dynamite aired on December 10 from College Park, Georgia, where he faced Kiran Grey. He won the match, and the performance led to internal discussion about his future with All Elite Wrestling.

It was reported that Borden was expected to sign with AEW following that appearance. Feedback from within the company suggested that his debut accelerated conversations about bringing him in under contract.

We will have to see what Stings son does next. Steve Borden is certainly getting a head start on things, and while some nepotism may be at play, hes going to make the most of this opportunity.

Whats your take on Stings son getting this kind of shot? Do you think Tony Khan will push him to the moon? Let us know what you think in the comments section!
