WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg isnt known for letting his guard down but the powerhouse wrestler kicked off 2026 by showing fans a softer, more personal side.
In a Instagram video shared on New Years Day, Goldberg dropped the tough-guy persona for a minute to pay tribute to his son, Gage Goldberg, a football player at the University of Colorado. With no bowl game this season, Gage has been home and it gave Goldberg a front-row seat to his sons relentless offseason grind.
Goldberg shared that Gage has been driving four hours round trip twice a week from their home to Austin just to train for a few hours with strength coach Tim Riley. And even after a night of celebrating the New Year, Gage didnt sleep in.
It was a rare glimpse into the private life of the former Universal Champion, who admitted he doesnt usually share emotional posts with the public. In the video caption, Goldberg wrote:
Goldberg closed the post in classic Goldberg fashion, writing, Now back to driving fast blowing sh*t up and exhaling smoke through my nose!! While fans know him for destruction inside the ring, this moment reminded everyone that behind the intensity is a proud father watching his son build a legacy of his own with grit, drive, and no excuses.
