Novak Djokovic is preparing for the 2026 edition of the Australian Open and is ready to give his best to break another record.
The Serbian legend wants to become the oldest player ever to lift a Grand Slam trophy and has always had a special feeling with Melbourne, where he has triumphed on ten occasions with some of the best performances of his career.
The former world No.1 highlighted the need to change some things compared to the last two seasons, in which he had a higher number of injuries than usual and often found himself without the necessary energy in the decisive moments of the most important tournaments.

For this reason, the 38-year-old from Belgrade also decided to participate in the Brisbane ATP 250 in the week leading up to the AO. His first goal is to recover rhythm and confidence to be able to play his best tennis from the first round at Melbourne Park, knowing that he cannot struggle too much if he wants to have a chance to get to the end.
Djokovic admires Cristiano Ronaldo
The 24-time Grand Slam champion knows that he will probably have to beat at least one of Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz if he wants to write a new page in tennis history, an arduous challenge that stimulates him despite the age difference.
Meanwhile, Nole attended the 'Globe Soccer Awards' ceremony staged in Dubai and received an award from Portuguese football legend Cristiano Ronaldo. These two athletes have always shown mutual respect and it is no secret that they motivate themselves to win to continue competing for as long as possible.

"We both push ourselves to go beyond our limits" Novak confided. "I am very proud of what I have done during my career and I want to thank all the people who have supported me on this long journey. God has given me a huge opportunity and I want to continue just as a Christian. We hope to achieve other huge goals before the end of our careers," Djokovic concluded.
