Its NJPW contract season, and another key name from Bullet Club War Dogs is nearing the end of his deal.
According to Fightful Select, Clark Connors contract with New Japan Pro Wrestling is set to expire toward the end of January 2026. The report notes that Connorswho hasnt wrestled since November 2is among several NJPW talents whose status is now in question as the new year approaches.
This follows a similar situation with David Finlay, another Bullet Club War Dogs member, whose contract is also reportedly winding down. Like Finlay, Connors is believed to be exploring his options, particularly with U.S.-based promotions showing interest.
New Japan is reportedly hoping to retain both men, but theres no confirmation yet on whether Connors plans to re-sign or test free agency.
While fans often assume all NJPW deals expire in January, thats not entirely true. Some stars have negotiated different timelines or simply continued working without formal contracts until things were finalized.
With Clark Connors inactive since November and David Finlay already fielding outside interest, NJPW could be facing a significant shift in its rosterespecially within the Bullet Club War Dogs faction.
Do you think Clark Connors should re-sign with NJPWor is it time for him to make a move to the U.S.? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
