Venus Williams has tied the knot with her partner Andrea Preti during a wedding ceremony that took place in Florida.

Last year, it was rumored by Italian media that actor and model Preti was dating the seven-time Grand Slam champion. That was later confirmed by the two.

After going public with their relationship, Williams and Preti got engaged in January. Now, 11 months after the engagement, the two took their love story to a new level.

Williams: The happiest and the sweetest day

We all love each other so much. It was just the happiest, most beautiful, sweetest day," the former WTA world No. 1 said.

The Italian actor described marriying Williams as "magic."

"MR & MRS PRETI its a kind of magic. My beautiful wife," Preti wrote on Instagram.

Meanwhile, Williams won't stay in the United States for too long as she is scheduled to play in the first week of the 2026 season in Auckland. That will mark the American starting her season early for the first time since 2023.

In the past, Williams competed in Auckland six times. The former world No. 1 was beaten by Ana Ivanovic in the 2014 Auckland final, but won the title the following year after beating Caroline Wozniacki.
