The best of the five Italians in the field was Gregorio De Leo, a 25-year-old from Biella, 21st with a 281 (73 67 74 67, -7), who recovered 21 places in the final round with a 67 (-5, one eagle, four birdies, one bogey). This is his third appearance of the new season, having previously finished 14th in Australia.
Jayden Schaper, a 24-year-old from Benoni, a professional since 2020, once again prevailed in the playoff, as he did last week at the Alfred Dunhill Championship, for a victory that clinches him on both circuits. He recovered from fourth place with a 64 (-8, one eagle, six birdies), drawing level with Gerard, a 26-year-old from Raleigh, North Carolina, a pro since 2022, for a PGA Tour title (Barracuda Championship, 2025). Gerard was tied for the top spot with South African Casey Jarvis, who was third with a 271 (-17). The American shot a 66 (-6, six birdies), narrowly avoiding a lead, but was then helpless against Schaper's eagle, who holed his third shot from off the green. He received a check for 174,065 out of a prize pool of approximately 1,025,000 (officially $1,200,000).
