Jannik Sinner's season has been electrifying from all points of view, despite an event that has put a strain on his mental toughness. The former world No.1 suffered a three-month ban from WADA, which sanctioned him for the controversial 'Clostebol case' forcing him to stay away from the professional tour from February to May.
In that time, the Italian ace had to miss four Masters 1000 tournamentsand was unable to practice in any club affiliated with the various federations. It was not an easy time for the 24-year-old from Sesto Pusteria, who needed the support of his entire team and family in order not to lose concentration.

The current world No.2 ended the year with six titles won, including two Grand Slams and the Nitto ATP Finals in Turin for the second year in a row. He came close to ending 2025 at the top of the ATP rankings after Carlos Alcaraz's premature elimination at the Paris Masters 1000, but in the end the 22-year-old Spaniard finished ahead of him by just 550 points.

He is currently training in Dubai together with his entire team and his first official tournament in 2026 will be the Australian Open, which will start on January 18 at Melbourne Park.
