Aryna Sabalenka broke her silence on the Marta Kostyuk testosterone comments in a strong way as the world No. 1 says the Ukrainian herself "has more muscles than I do," and also confirms that posing in a bikini and posting it on Instagram was a subtle response to the world No.
In October, Kostyuk appeared to suggest in one of her interviews that certain female players had higher testosterone levels than others. At the time, the one-time WTA champion specifically mentioned the two top-ranked players in the game - Sabalenka and Iga Swiatek. The story caught so much attention that it was picked up by even non-tennis media and made the headlines in some of the biggest newspapers.
"That's so funny that we even talk about someone like Marta Kostyuk's comments but all I hear here is just excuses, and it's actually quite funny because she's a strong girl. She probably has more muscles than I do and she looks fit and strong and that's not the case in all of the matches she lost against top players," the 27-year-old Belarusian said on the Piers Morgan Uncensored.

Sabalenka: I wanted Kostyuk to see the real picture
When the Kostyuk interview dropped, Sabalenka was vacationing in Dubai with Paula Badosa. And a few days later, the four-time Grand Slam champion uploaded a series of bikini snaps to her Instagram account. Morgan brought up the Instagram post in question and asked the Belarusian if that was her way of responding to the 23-year-old Ukrainian.
"Just wanted to make sure that she sees the real picture," reigning US Open champion Sabalenka said.
Meanwhile, Sabalenka owns a 4-0 head-to-head record against Kostyuk and she has yet to drop a set against the 26th-ranked Ukrainian tennis player.
