TNA Wrestlings fresh media rights deal with AMC may have secured the promotions futurebut now, the spotlight is on its top talent, and WWE is circling.
According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter, multiple TNA wrestlers are currently holding off on new deals, waiting to see how the AMC partnership changes the game financially. That pause in contract activity has opened the door for WWE to swoop inand apparently, discussions are already happening.
Dave Meltzer reported that TNAs delay in locking down its TV deal created a bottleneck in negotiations, leaving several top names in limbo. And now, the focus has shifted to who stays and who walks.
Some of the names reportedly in that waiting zone include a mix of former WWE talent and current TNA standouts. That list? Mike Santana, Mustafa Ali, Jake Something, AJ Francis, Steve Maclin, and Zachary Wentz.
But whats even more eyebrow-raising is that several of them are already actively talking to WWE. Meltzer compared the current situation to the recent crossover attention around Jordynne Grace and Joe Hendrytwo TNA stars have left the company for WWE.
With TNAs AMC debut set for January 2026, the pressure is on for management to lock in its top-tier talent before WWE or others make a move. How the promotion responds over the next few weeks could determine whether it holds onto its core rosteror ends up in rebuild mode just as the cameras start rolling.
WWE has already proven its not shy about working with contracted talent from other promotions. The question now is whether TNAs current roster is willing to stick aroundor whether some of them are already halfway out the door.
