Mayor Todd Gloria made sure Survivor Series weekend in San Diego wasnt just another night of wrestlingit became a full-on civic celebration.
Ahead of WWE Survivor Series: WarGames, the mayor took to Instagram to share photos and videos from a special ceremony held at Petco Park, where he honored three of WWEs proudest San Diego-born stars: Rey Mysterio, Nia Jax, and Dominik Mysterio. Each of them received a Key to the CitySan Diegos highest honor.
The mayors proclamation underscored the citys pride in its wrestling legends and rising stars. He didnt hold back on praise either:

While the city celebrated its champions, WWE had plenty of drama inside the ring. Dominik Mysterio stunned fans by defeating John Cena to recapture the Intercontinental Championshipthanks in part to a shocking return by Liv Morgan, who interfered on his behalf.
On the flip side, Nia Jax didnt fare as well. She was part of the losing team in the Womens WarGames match, where AJ Lee tapped out Becky Lynch to seal the victory for her squad.
