Victoria Mboko, a Canadian tennis player, had a great season. Few expected Mboko to make such big strides this season, beating important figures like Rybakina, Osaka and Gauff. Winning the first WTA trophy in her career is certainly a moment she will never forget. And it seemed that she had a chance to achieve even greater success.
Mboko is now the 18th player in the world and the question is what future awaits her. Having that motivation in her teenage years could guarantee her success, but Mboko doesn't want to rush too much or set far-reaching goals.
In an interview with Match Point Canada, Mboko revealed who she would like to play with next season.

She is number one in the world. Who doesnt want to play number one in the world? That would be pretty fun to play her. That would be a cool experience, so why not?- she said, as quoted by Match Point Canada.

Mboko's two favorite matches
There are several matches in which she impressed, but there are two matches that she will probably never forget and which left a strong impression on her.
I would say there were two, possibly.
The one against Paula [Badosa] (At the Miami Open). And I would say that I really like my performance against Coco in Rome, when I played her for the first time.
Another moment that the young tennis player will remember is the match with Coco Gauff at the Italian Open, where she started aggressively. However, Gauff continued to show the game that was expected of her and managed to win.
Mboko speaks positively about that match, saying it was a great experience, and precisely such experiences make it easier for you in the future and help you to deal more easily with pressure and serious opponents.

It was my first time playing on a Centre Court in a tournament, so that was really nice, and I was able to stay in there with her as much as I could. It wasnt my day that day, but it was a really nice match.- she concluded.
