Rollap emphasizes that there are still talks with LIV, wanting to make the PGA even stronger. His main goal is to make players happy and create a system in which they will enjoy and have a huge motivation.
"I've had conversations, sure. I've been very public on this, I will do whatever makes the PGA Tour stronger.
I work for the players, we have a system where they own the equity and can actually earn more, which is an extremely powerful model within sports.
I feel a deep responsibility to them. They should be benefitting more than anybody because they are the sport."- he said, as quoted by Golf Monthly.
Final deal
Rollap was less direct about whether he wants a deal with LIV, but he noted that if it would help the PGA Tour and golf, he would like to see an outcome that would bring the two sides together. His words suggest a lot of doubt and uncertainty, but in a few months we could get a real answer regarding the future of golf.

"Depends. Depends what the terms are. I think we're doing pretty good competing the way we are.
But yes, having the best professional tour makes sense and you need the best golfers to do that, but I'm very focused on developing a professional sport that outlasts any of our stars - that's what the most successful sports do."-he concluded.
