Joao Fonseca says Alexander Bublik is "kind of crazy" on the court, but adds that the Kazakh is "the sweetest guy" off the court and he absolutely loves to talk with the 28-year-old.
This year, Bublik won a total of four titles and climbed to a career-high ranking of No. 11 in the world. But one thing hasn't changed about the 28-year-old Kazakh - he is still playing his usual unpredictable style of tennis and he is prone to outbursts and meltdowns. However, in some of his interviews, the world No. 11 admitted that he was not the proudest of his actions since he has a little son and didn't want to be a negative role model or anything like that.

Fonseca, who burst onto the scene big time this year and concludes the season ranked at a career-high ranking of No. 24 in the world, hasn't yet gotten a chance to play Bublik in a main-level match. But that doesn't mean that he is not familiar with the Kazakh's style of play.

"Well, he is kind of crazy, right? But off the court, he's great... On the court, it's unpredictable playing him. He might hit a drop shot, he might hit a winner, he might basically give you the match, or fight like crazy. So you just always have to stay focused on your own game. It's kind of wild, but funny that off the court he's the sweetest guy, I love talking with him," the 19-year-old said during a recent podcast appearance.

In the same interview, Fonseca pretty much said the same thing about Daniil Medvedev.
"Medvedev... Super nice. These guys are really nice. On the court, they just tilt. But I love watching them too because, again, it's something different," the Brazilian added.
Fonseca hasn't played against Medvedev either so far in his short career.
