Jessica Pegula admits she is "flabbergasted" to see Jelena Ostapenko selling used stuff through Instagram, but adds she fully respects it because the Latvian has made some "legit stuff" for purchase.
Besides her main account, Ostapenko also has a second account that goes by the handle j.o.clothes1997. The 2017 French Open champion is mainly using that account to show her clothes and basic non-tennis things. But then, two weeks ago, it got into the spotlight after the Latvian was caught selling used perfume samples for a couple of euros each. Also, a vacuum cleaner was put up for sale.
Tennis fans instantly started trolling Ostapenko, who later hit back at the trolls by revealing that all the perfume samples, as well as the vacuum cleaner, had been sold. Two days ago, the 28-year-old revealed that she was also selling her used storage boxes for five euros a piece.

"We have to give a shoutout to Jelena Ostapenko. Talking about utilizing the most of your career, she is selling things on Instagram. We have to give her a plug. So, anyways, we had in here as Jelena's Marketplace, which is really funny. She's selling stuff. Her Instagram handle is @j.o.clothes1997," Pegula said on The Player's Box.
"I'm like flabbergasted by the fact that she does this, but we also, I think, respect it because girl's just trying to like get her bag and make her money. A little cash here and there, you know? Why not? It's kind of awesome. Honestly, kudos to you. We kind of absolutely love it and you just keep selling your stuff. I mean, can't wait to see what's on there next. The Dyson vacuum cleaner is like a legit purchase."
Pegula thinks Ostapenko is selling some useful stuff, so she may as well find something for herself in the Latvian's sales.
