The November 25 episode of WWE NXT delivered a crossover moment nobody saw coming, as Lei Ying Lee walked out with the TNA Knockouts Championship after defeating Jordynne Grace and Kelani Jordan in a wild triple threat title match.
The match kicked off with chaos, with all three women trading big shots, highrisk dives, and rapidfire near falls. Jordynne Grace used her power to dominate stretches of the match, Kelani Jordan brought the aerial assault, and Lei Ying Lee blended both speed and precision to keep herself alive every time she seemed outmatched.
Just when it looked like Grace had the match secured, Kelani pulled her to the floor. That gave Lee the opening she needed. She capitalized instantly, pinning Kelani Jordan inside the ring and becoming the new TNA Knockouts Champion in the middle of WWE programming.
This marks one of the most important title changes ever to take place on NXT television and adds to WWEs working relationship with TNA. Lei Ying Lee not only dethroned one of the most dominant champions in womens wrestling, but she did it on a stage that introduced her to an entirely new audience watching live on the CW Network.
