Zack Ryder came back during the November 14th edition of SmackDown and he finally got the classic Triple H pointing photo right after that. Following the show, Ryder has now revealed an interesting fact about his encounter with Triple H.
While speaking on Not Sam Wrestling, Zack Ryder revealed a full-circle moment from his WWE return, noting that his first match in Albany years ago was against Triple H, and now he found himself in the same arena getting the iconic Triple H point.
After cooling off backstage, he searched his history on CageMatch and rediscovered that his debut in the city was Hawkins & Ryder vs. Triple H and Jeff Hardy. He even found an old WWE photo of Triple H giving him a spinebuster.
Ryder admitted how surreal it felt: the first time he was in Albany he was getting hit with a spinebuster by Triple H, and this time he was back getting the famous finger point from him. The coincidence made the moment even more special and meaningful for him.
Ryders return match saw him lose to LA Knight in the Last Time Is Now tournament and thats the last time fans will see Ryder for now since it was a one-off appearance for him.
Zack Ryders return showed why WWE nostalgia still works. His picture with Triple H wasnt just a fun moment: it showed his growth, the respect he earned and how his journey came back to where it first started. So now well have to see if he returns to WWE again one day as fans still clearly love him.
