CM Punk has never been shy about speaking his mindbut dont expect to read all about it in a tell-all memoir anytime soon.
During an appearance on Mostly Sports, the former WWE Champion was asked whether he had any interest in writing a book about his life and career. Punk didnt hesitate to shoot the idea down and explained that its simply not something hes willing to take on.
He added that fans and publishers would likely expect him to spill everythingand that alone brings legal risks hed rather not deal with.
Punks wife, AJ Lee, released her own memoir Crazy Is My Superpower in 2017 to widespread acclaimbut Punk made it clear the writing process didnt exactly inspire him to follow suit. From stress to time commitment to potential backlash, hes not interested in putting pen to paper.
While fans have long begged for a deep dive into Punks storied careerfrom indie darling to WWE superstar to his dramatic exits and returnshes not budging.
So unless something drastically changes, the story of CM Punk will continue to be told in the ring, on interviews, and in momentsnot in chapters.
Would you want to read a CM Punk book if he ever changed his mind? Or do you think hes right to keep some things to himself? Drop your thoughts in the comments and let us know.
