Brad Schwartz isnt holding back his admiration for the WWE NXT womens division.
During his appearance at the 2025 Sports Business Journal Media Innovators conference, the CW Network president praised the female roster of NXTgoing so far as to say theyre outperforming the men. Schwartz spoke at length about The CWs recent push into live sports, especially after adding NXT to the schedule in 2024. As the brand continues to deliver weekly action, Schwartz singled out the women as the standout feature.
The CWs move to bring in NXT was all part of a bigger strategy to boost live programming and build consistent weekly viewership. Schwartz explained that the partnership with WWE gives them reliable Tuesday night content year-roundsomething thats rare in television.
As the Gold Rush 2025 special kicks off tonight in New York City, NXT is once again in the spotlightand its clear the CW Network is fully behind the brands rise, especially its womens division.
