It all started when Forbes writer Alfred Konuwa posted on X and declared that Evans is the future of wrestling, claiming that Evans will be so valuable, even AEW would offer to rebuild burned bridges. Konuwas exact comment read:

That sentence was enough to restart the fire between Ricochet and Evans, who had previously traded jabs earlier this year in a now-deleted back-and-forth that included shots at WWEs Performance Center, AEW, and even Shawn Michaels.
Ricochet continues to flex his confidence since joining AEW, and this latest shot suggests hes still watching WWE closelyespecially when names like JeVon Evans are brought up.
