While many see Jannik as a modern, more explosive and advanced version of Novak, Toni urged for nuance. The famous coach noted that both men excel through very different strengths before meeting at the top.
In Nadal's opinion, Djokovic remains the more complete player, although not by much. The Serb's variety, touch and tactical adaptability to different rivals and conditions give him an edge in versatility.
Sinner, on the other hand, relies on the raw velocity and precision of his lethal groundstrokes, perfectly crafted from both wings. The San Candido native provides a relentless rhythm that few opponents can sustain for long.

At the moment, he seems unbeatable on an indoor court, although the real ATP Finals challenges still stand in front of him. Nadal emphasized that both players operate at a breathtaking tempo.
They are capable of maintaining balance and control even at full speed, which crushes the rivals' pace. Novak has the ability to absorb pace and redirect it with surgical precision.
In contrast, Jannik provides the overwhelming power and dictates the exchanges from the baseline, although he likes to end them quickly and efficiently, as against Felix Auger-Aliassime in Turin.

"I think Novak is a bit more complete than Jannik. Jannik has more speed in his shots, Novak a bit more touch. They share the fact that they always impose a high tempo and have exceptional ball control, with very high-level movement.
