AEW fans were left scratching their heads during a recent episode of Collision after a glaring production mistake listed the wrong city for the companys upcoming show. The November 19, 2025 episode was advertised as taking place in Reading, Pennsylvaniawhen its actually happening in Boston.
During Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez and Dave Meltzer broke down the blunder in real time. Alvarez noted that messages started pouring in from confused viewers who spotted the mistake:
Meltzer explained that the error seemed to come from someone accidentally using outdated information:
And then came the punchline that perfectly summed up how the slip-up happened:
Alvarez added that it was probably a case of someone pulling old data without checking the actual touring schedule:
The mistake was read on-air by Tony Schiavone, who clearly didnt realize the error, stating: November 19th, Reading. Meltzer confirmed its definitely Boston and not Reading, and that the accurate information is readily available:
This isnt the first time AEW production has been criticized for lack of attention to detail, but mislabeling a tour stop just days ahead of the show left some ticket holders momentarily panickedand others simply laughing.
