CM Punks return to WWE RAW on November 3 came with a mic in one handand a fashion faux pas, according to one former WWE star. While fans were still celebrating Punks WWE World Heavyweight Title win at Saturday Nights Main Event, Matt Morgan had something else on his mind: the sweatshirt.
Morgan, a longtime Punk supporter, took to Twitter with a now-deleted post, where he couldnt help but call out Punks attire during the promo segment. Despite praising Punks title win, Morgan tore into the sweatshirt choice with zero hesitation.
Morgan didnt stop there. He compared the look to something straight out of the comedy Step Brothers and questioned how WWE could allow their new champion to hit the ring looking less than elite.
Morganwho pointed out that hes older than Punkalso suggested that the wardrobe choice didnt sit well with younger viewers either.
Before ending the tweet, Morgan joked that maybe Fanatics was to blamebut admitted, who knows.
The tweet has since been deleted, but not before fans grabbed screenshots and started debating whether Punks look was just laid-back or truly tragic.
CM Punk didnt respond to the wardrobe critique and likely has bigger things to focus onlike the fact that Logan Paul betrayed him during RAW and teased joining The Vision, setting up a major new storyline for the champ.
