Penta El Zero Miedo took Halloween to horror movie territory this yearand fans of A Nightmare on Elm Street instantly recognized the reference.
On October 31, the WWE Superstar posted a chilling photo to Instagram with the caption Elm Street. In the image, Penta is submerged in a bathtub filled with milky water, reaching out with one hand while a Freddy Krueger-style clawed glove emerges from between his legs in the foregroundrecreating the infamous bathtub scene from the 1984 horror classic.
Wearing his signature lucha mask and wide-eyed expression, Pentas shot mirrors the haunting visual that made Freddy Krueger a household name. The eerie lighting and close composition give the post an unmistakably cinematic feel.
While plenty of wrestlers showed off Halloween fits this year, Penta went straight for horror homageand nailed it. If you didnt think Freddy Krueger could rock a mask and still haunt your dreams, think again.
