Drew McIntyre isnt buying Cody Rhodes perfect hero actand he just compared him to one of TVs most sinister villains.
In an interview with the Edinburgh News, McIntyre unloaded on the man hes set to face for the Undisputed WWE Championship at Saturday Nights Main Event. According to Drew, Cody Rhodes is living in a fantasy world, and the truth is far uglier than fans realize.
The comparison came after watching The Boys with his wife, where Drew suddenly saw Cody in a whole new light.
He capped it off with one of the most brutal digs yet:
McIntyre also took aim at Codys now-famous finish the story slogan, claiming it was his story first. While Cody got his WrestleMania moment, Drew says he was the one who carried the company during the pandemic erawithout fans, without glory, and without lasting recognition.
Drew McIntyre isnt just coming for Codys titlehes coming for his entire narrative. With comparisons to a supervillain and claims of stolen glory, McIntyres not playing the respectful challenger anymore. Hes peeling back the curtain, and if he has his way at Saturday Nights Main Event, the WWE Universe might finally see Cody Rhodes for who he really is.
