Things are about to get wild before AEW Full Gear even kicks off, and it starts with a Tailgate Brawl.
Big Boom AJ and QT Marshall are joining forces under the name Boom & Doom, and theyre set to throw down against Rocky Romero and Trent Beretta of the Don Callis Family. The match is locked in for the Tailgate Brawlthe pre-show spectacle airing one hour before the pay-per-view begins.
This unlikely tag team comes together with history already between them. AJ and QT clashed at Full Gear 2024, but now theyre putting their past behind them to deal with a common enemy. The Don Callis Family has been causing chaos for the Costco Guy crew, and AJ needed backup. So, who better than his former foe?
The Tailgate Brawl match joins a stacked AEW Full Gear card, which already features several title bouts and massive confrontations:
- Hangman Adam Page (c) vs. Samoa Joe for the AEW World Championship
- Kris Statlander (c) vs. Mercedes Mon for the AEW Womens World Championship
- Brodido (c) vs. FTR for the AEW World Tag Team Championship
As for Boom & Doom, this fight could either bring AJ and QT full circle or implode before the bell rings. One things for surewhen the Don Callis Family is involved, nothing ever stays clean.
