AEW Dynamites Fright Night special on October 29 ended with Samoa Joe locking in a brutal submission to make HOOK tap out, officially earning himself a shot at the AEW World Championship at Full Gear on November 22, 2025.

The four-way match between Joe, HOOK, Bobby Lashley, and Ricochet opened with a wild brawl as all four men clashed immediately. After a mix of offense from everyone, Samoa Joe took control. Ricochet went for a splash, but Joe moved out of the way. Lashley and Joe squared off briefly, with Lashley landing a spinebuster.

Ricochet followed with a tope to the outside, but in the end, it was Samoa Joe who locked in the submission and made HOOK tap in the center of the ring.

With that win, Joe is now set to challenge Hangman Page for the AEW World Title at Full Gear in Newark, New Jersey.
