AEW Dynamites Fright Night edition on October 29 ended with one of the wildest twists of the year when Hangman Adam Page disguised himself as Tony Schiavone and attacked Samoa Joe after the main event.

After Samoa Joe won the Fright Night 4-Way Fight by making HOOK tap out to become the new number one contender for the AEW World Championship at Full Gear, he remained in the ring to sign the official contract for his title match. Tony Schiavone joined Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs, and Katsuyori Shibata to oversee the signing, surrounded by several people in blow-up costumes.

Before putting pen to paper, Joe told his stablemates to clear the ring for safety. Joe says he wants to ensure the environment is safe, then tells Shibata and Hobbs to make sure hes safe. Hobbs and Shibata attacked the costumed individuals, eventually grabbing someone dressed as the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man from Ghostbusters. Joe ripped off the mask expecting to reveal Hangman Pagebut it wasnt him. Frustrated, Joe clocked the imposter and signed the contract, declaring that the next AEW World Champion is standing right before him.

As Schiavone proposed a toast with beers in hand, the camera zoomed in to reveal that the person dressed as Schiavone is in fact Page. Without hesitation, Page unloaded on Joe, raining down punches until security rushed the ring to break things up as the show went off the air.
