AEWs October 29, 2025 Fright Night edition of Dynamite delivered chaos and carnage, but FTR walked out with a guaranteed shot at the AEW Tag Team Titlesand they earned it the hard way.
The match started fast with Mike Bailey and Jack Perry, but things escalated when Dax Harwood blind-tagged in and chopped the hell out of Bailey. Bailey responded with sharp kicks and a takedown, forcing Perry to jump back in. After a flurry of rope-running, arm drags, and tags, the match descended into complete anarchy.
JetSpeed and Jurassic Express worked together to drop Perry, only for FTR and the Young Bucks to rush in and dismantle both teams. Action spilled to the floor, where Bailey launched himself off the ropes and took out both FTR and the Bucks. Kevin Knight then hit a top rope dive on the outside, followed by Perry hitting a destroyer and Luchasaurus drilling Nick Jackson for a near fall.
Moments later, Bailey wiped out FTR and the Bucks again, and Knight nailed a UFO splash off the top rope. But the Young Bucks werent donethey delivered a BTE Trigger to Knight, only for him to kick out at two.
Things hit their boiling point when FTR hit the ring and grabbed Knight and hit a Shatter Machine for the win. Dax Harwood scored the pin over Kevin Knight, securing FTRs #1 contender spot for the AEW World Tag Team Titles.
FTR will now face Brodido at Full Gear in whats shaping up to be a punishing showdown. After the brawl on Dynamite, theres no doubt FTR are rolling into the PPV with serious momentumand a warning for anyone who stands in their way.
