Don Callis has once again turned controversy into art.
During the October 29 episode of AEW Dynamite, the self-proclaimed mastermind of The Don Callis Family made his entrance to the ring alongside his group, accompanied by Rocky Romero, Josh Alexander and a few other members from the group. The segment centered around a dramatic unveiling a brand-new painting.
The portrait, displayed inside an ornate gold frame, depicted Callis front and center, shirtless and posed like a divine figure surrounded by his family. Each member was stylized in near-mythical form, muscular and draped in cloth as if they were gods of professional wrestling.
Rocky Romero kicked off the segment by introducing the new piece, presenting it to the live crowd before removing the cover. Callis stood proudly as fans erupted in boos while the new masterpiece was revealed.
Don Callis continues to blur the line between ego and artistry, and the reaction proves he wouldnt have it any other way. AEWs most despised faction just found another way to stay unforgettable one painted muscle at a time.
