Teams didn't waste any time on making trades this season, as a handful of 2024 draft picks have already found their way to new rosters. Players such as Tank Bigsby, Ja'Lynn Polk, Jarvis Brownlee Jr. and Cam Robinson have already been dealt. The Bengals made an addition at QB with Joe Flacco, and the Chargers acquired Odafe Oweh. The Jaguars and Browns also swapped cornerbacks (Greg Newsome II and Tyson Campbell). And most recently, the Titans traded Roger McCreary to the Rams.

Titans trading CB McCreary to the Rams
The Tennessee Titans are sending cornerback Roger McCreary to the Los Angeles Rams for a conditional fifth- and sixth-round pick swap, per ESPN's Adam Schefter. The Titans will get the Rams' fifth-round pick closer to the beginning of the round -- which will most likely be Titans' original fifth-round pick. And the Rams will receive the sixth-round pick that is closet to the end of that round. (The Titans currently have three sixth-round picks.)
Jaguars not trading WR Thomas
The Jacksonville Jaguars are not going to trade receiver Brian Thomas Jr. despite the second-year player's struggles to start the season, head coach Liam Coen said Monday.
"We have no plans to move Brian Thomas," Coen said. "I've got a lot of confidence in him."
Thomas leads the Jaguars with 365 receiving yards, and his 27 receptions are second to Travis Hunter's team-high 28. He's also tied for second in the NFL with five drops, per ESPN Research, which is one more than he had as a rookie in 2024.

Raiders willing to keep WR Meyers
Even though Jakobi Meyers has requested a trade, the Las Vegas Raiders only would deal the veteran wide receiver if they felt they were getting strong value in return, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
With the NFL trade deadline approaching, a trade offer of that nature has not materialized, according to sources.
Saints open to trading WR Shaheed
The New Orleans Saints have said they're not interested in trading away one of their wide receivers, but league sources believe Rashid Shaheed can be had for the right price.
Teams continue to call the Saints regarding the trade availability of Shaheed and fellow receiver Chris Olave, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter. The Saints are attempting to re-sign Olave to a contract extension, and sources believe New Orleans would like to receive a third-round draft pick in a trade involving Shaheed.
Titans listening on offers but won't deal stars
The Tennessee Titans are open to dealing ahead of the NFL trade deadline, but sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Saturday that they are unwilling to part with their most important players -- rookie quarterback Cam Ward and star defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons.
Teams have been monitoring the last-place Titans (1-6), who fired head coach Brian Callahan earlier this month and named Mike McCoy as his interim replacement.
The Titans are willing to listen to trade offers on players such as tight end Chig Okonkwo, cornerback Roger McCreary and outside linebacker Arden Key, sources told ESPN. But Ward, the No. 1 pick in this year's draft, and Simmons, a three-time Pro Bowler, are off limits, according to sources.
Eagles not expected to trade WR Brown
The Philadelphia Eagles are not expected to trade star wide receiver A.J. Brown before the NFL's Nov. 4 deadline, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Teams still are eyeing Brown as the deadline approaches, according to sources, but the defending Super Bowl champion Eagles are not looking to move the three-time Pro Bowler. The Eagles would be willing to listen to any trade offer, but sources believe Philadelphia would not be willing to part with Brown for anything less than a blockbuster offer, which is not expected to be forthcoming.

Bengals LB Wilson requests trade amid reduced role
Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Logan Wilson has requested a trade, a source told ESPN on Thursday.
The sixth-year player has started in all seven of his appearances this season. However, the team captain has seen his role reduced over the course of the season. Rookies Barrett Carter and Demetrius Knight Jr. have received the bulk of the team's defensive snaps this season.
Edge Johnson doesn't expect to be traded from Jets
New York Jets edge rusher Jermaine Johnson, the subject of trade speculation, doesn't expect to go anywhere.
Johnson said Thursday he received "clarity" from the front office.
"I'm definitely wanted here, and I want to stay here," he told ESPN. "That's been understood. Hence, the tweet."
On Wednesday, Johnson posted a gif from "The Wolf of Wall Street," quoting a line from the movie: "I'm not leavin."

Run of trades expected
The three NFL trades completed this week are expected to be a sign of things to come ahead of the league's Nov. 4 trade deadline. In a copycat league where teams constantly are striving to improve, general managers already have begun exploring additional trades, and based on recent years, there could be at least another dozen to come, league sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Over the past six years, in the month of October leading up to the trade deadline, the NFL has had 88 trades -- an average of just under 15 per year.
The list of trade candidates that executives and coaches believe could be available in the next few weeks features multiple high-profile players, including Kirk Cousins, Russell Wilson, Trey Hendrickson, Mark Andrews, Bradley Chubb, Alvin Kamara, Chris Olave, Breece Hall, Cameron Jordan and Riq Woolen. These players' respective teams haven't necessarily made them available via trade, but sources believe they eventually could be.

CB Newsome to Jaguars, CB Campbell to Browns
The Jacksonville Jaguars and Cleveland Browns agreed to a trade of cornerbacks Wednesday night, with Greg Newsome II heading to Jacksonville and Tyson Campbell going to Cleveland, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The Jaguars also received the New York Jets' 2026 sixth-round pick via the Browns, who got back the Philadelphia Eagles' 2026 seventh-round selection via Jacksonville in return.

Edge Oweh to Chargers, S Gilman to Ravens
The Baltimore Ravens are shaking up their struggling defense by trading slumping pass rusher Odafe Oweh and a 2027 seventh-round pick to the Los Angeles Chargers on Tuesday in exchange for safety Alohi Gilman and a fifth-round pick in 2026, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Bengals trade for QB Flacco
The Cincinnati Bengals turned to their division rivals for a much-needed solution at quarterback, acquiring Joe Flacco in a trade with the Cleveland Browns, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The Bengals also will receive a sixth-round draft pick, while the Browns landed a fifth-round pick in the trade, sources told Schefter.
Flacco joins Cincinnati two days after Bengals coach Zac Taylor was noncommittal on Jake Browning's status as the starting quarterback.

Browns trade for Texans OT Robinson
The Cleveland Browns traded for Houston Texans offensive tackle Cam Robinson in exchange for a swap of late-round picks in 2027, the teams announced Monday.
The Browns will receive a 2027 seventh-round pick and gave the Texans a 2027 sixth-rounder in return. The Browns had a need at offensive tackle after Dawand Jones suffered a season-ending injury in Week 3. He underwent surgery last week to repair a torn LCL and hamstring avulsion.

Jets trade for Titans CB Brownlee
Addressing their disappointing secondary, the New York Jets traded Tuesday for cornerback Jarvis Brownlee Jr., previously a full-time starter for the Tennessee Titans.
The Jets acquired Brownlee and a 2026 seventh-round draft pick for a 2026 sixth-round choice.
When Brownlee, 24, recovers from a recent ankle injury, he could push Brandon Stephens for the starting job opposite Sauce Gardner. If nothing else, Brownlee will give the team a backup with starting experience.

Could Tyreek Hill or Kirk Cousins be on the move? Here's our way-too-early look at who might end up getting dealt between now and the deadline, along with where they could end up.
Sept. 13
Patriots trade injured WR Polk to Saints
The New Orleans Saints traded for New England Patriots wide receiver Ja'Lynn Polk, a 2024 second-round pick on injured reserve with a shoulder injury.
The Saints receive Polk and a 2028 seventh-round pick, while the Patriots get a 2027 sixth-round pick, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter. Polk was selected 37th after the Patriots had traded down three spots, giving up the No. 34 pick to the Los Angeles Chargers, who selected receiver Ladd McConkey.
Sept. 8
Jaguars trade RB Bigsby to Eagles for draft picks
The Philadelphia Eagles have acquired running back Tank Bigsby from the Jacksonville Jaguars for 2026 fifth- and sixth-round picks.
The deal marks the fifth trade the Eagles have made since mid-August. The flurry of roster moves also brought receiver John Metchie III, quarterback Sam Howell and offensive lineman Fred Johnson to the defending Super Bowl champions.
