Brock Lesnar was originally nixed as a playable character in WWE 2K25 after he was mentioned in Janel Grants lawsuit against Vince McMahon. After over a year away from the company, he returned during SummerSlam this year. Now, he is back in the game with a new update.
When news broke that Brock Lesnar would be returning to WWE 2K25 as part of John Cenas latest update, fans had questions. After all, there was a bit of controversy after his return to the fold in the first place.
WWE 2K25 just got a surprise update and Brock Lesnar is part of the spotlight. Patch 1.27 is live right now on all platforms. There was no official log of everything that theyve changed so far. So, gamers are figuring things out as they play. That being said, they have noticed a few alterations so far.
Brock Lesnar and John Cena now have real photo renders. This replaces the basic in-game models they were using before. That is a very interesting inclusion in the patch, especially considering how Lesnar was left off the original release as a playable character.
Nikki Bella also got a full visual upgrade, and this came after return to the fold as well. Her new model features a better face scan and updated hair. The 2k team also included a throwback design, as Drew McIntyres 2010 version was also added as a new persona.
The next official content pack is coming in November. It is also the final announced DLC pack for WWE 2K25. The Saturday Nights Main Event Pack is set to release on November 12, 2025. It will feature Jesse Ventura, Paul Orndorff, Tito Santana, Junkyard Dog, and Sid Justice as new playable Superstars. After this drop, developers have confirmed more MyFACTION content is on the way.
We will have to see how fans react to Brock Lesnars new update to WWE 2K25. It will be even more interesting to see how WWE books him from this point on, after he destroyed John Cena at Wrestlepalooza, the Beast Incarnate has been silent.
