Rhea Ripley is currently sidelined with a serious nose injury suffered during WWEs recent live event tour in Japanand now that injury has forced her to cancel an in-store appearance at Hot Topic in Irvine, California.
Hot Topic confirmed the news on Instagram, announcing that the scheduled meet and greet would no longer take place. They instructed fans who already purchased a wristband to hold onto it along with their receipt for future redemption of a special item.
Shortly after the cancellation was made public, Ripley took to her Instagram story to personally address the situation. She expressed her regret and emphasized how much she wanted to connect with those who planned to attend.
Ripleys injury has turned out to be more serious than initially believed, and while she remains off WWE programming for the time being, her message made it clear she intends to keep her promise to fans once shes back on her feet.
