Matt Riddle has officially ditched the laid-back Original Bro personaand hes not looking back. In a new interview on The Stunner, the former WWE Superstar broke down his new gimmick, calling himself the Rude Dude and explaining why this version of himself feels more honest than anything hes done before.
Riddle was asked about the pressure going into ACWs Mischief Night Fatal Four-Way main event, but instead of talking strategy, he opened up about the mindset shift thats fueling his current run. No more handshakes and smileshes walking into matches with a chip on his shoulder and something to prove.
According to Riddle, this isnt just a new look or catchphraseits a total mindset change. He said the transformation was liberating and compared it to finally peeling off something that never fit him in the first place.
The Rude Dude character lets Riddle lean into the chaos without feeling like he has to hold back for anyone elses expectations. Whether hes smashing faces or rocking his hallucinogenic-inspired gear, this version of Riddle feels a lot more like the real thing.
With a new attitude and a new voice, Matt Riddle is making it clearhes done pretending to be anything other than who he really is.
