
Kurt Angle has been open about the toll wrestling took on his body, and after years of surgeries and rehab, the WWE Hall of Famer is giving fans an honest update on how hes holding up today.
Speaking on the Ariel Helwani Show, Angle revealed that replacing his knees turned out to be the best decision he ever made. However, his back surgery didnt work out as plannedand it was core training, not surgery, that actually saved him from the pain.
Angle went on to explain that he still needs to have both shoulders replaced but isnt rushing into it. His doctor warned him that the procedure only helps about half the people who undergo it and encouraged him to wait for improved medical advancements.
Even with all the surgeries behind him, Angle continues to train regularly but avoids heavy lifting to protect his joints. He said keeping his weight down is key to making sure his knee replacements last as long as possible.
