Novak Djokovic's 2025 season could be very close to the end, as he has only confirmed his presence at the Athens ATP 250 and it is unclear whether or not he will participate in the Nitto ATP Finals in Turin next month.
The Serbian veteran who has only participated in the Shanghai Rolex Masters and the 'Six Kings Slam' in Saudi Arabia recently announced his absence from the Paris Masters 1000 wanting to recharge his batteries. The director of the last Masters 1000 of the season Cedric Pioline hoped that the new venue of the tournament would convince the former world number 1 to participate in the event this year, but the 38-year-old from Belgrade has other priorities at this point in his career and is probably already thinking about the next edition of the Australian Open.

Nole never gives up
Nole has repeatedly admitted that Grand Slam tournaments are his only goals at 38 years old and is continuing to work hard to make tennis history again, despite the fact that there are many young up-and-coming players who want to take over him. He certainly had a huge chance during the Shanghai Rolex Masters due to the absence of Carlos Alcaraz and the premature elimination of Jannik Sinner, but his run in China ended in the semifinals against former world number 204 Valentin Vacherot.
On the latest episode of his famous podcast, tennis legend Rennae Stubbs expressed a very harsh opinion towards the 24-time Grand Slam champion: "Nole no longer seems to have the strength to counter certain opponents. Time is taking its toll and his body is suffering from wear and tear, as evidenced by his achievements over the last 1-2 years.

We all wonder how long he will continue to play and it is not easy to give an answer. I wonder if he will play Roland Garros and Wimbledon in 2026, given that there are still nine months to go. His goal is not to win another Masters 1000, he already holds any record, so it may no longer make sense for him to continue playing."
