The 22-year-old from Murcia was one of the protagonists of the 'Six Kings Slam' in Saudi Arabia last week, where he beat American ace Taylor Fritz in the semifinals before losing decisively to Sinner in the final. Although it was only an exhibition tournament, the six-time Grand Slam champion understood that he must further improve his game if he wants to defeat the 24-year-old from Sesto Pusteria in indoor conditions.
Carlitos wants to shine in Paris
Alcaraz's next official tournament will be the Paris Masters 1000, which will be played in a new venue starting this year and promises to be a spectacle.
He wants to consolidate his position at the top of the ATP rankings, reaching this milestone for the second time after 2022. Carlos wants to arrive in the French capital in the best possible condition and is practicing hard in Spain with his team. According to reports from 'MARCA' in these hours, the world number 1 will travel to Paris this Thursday together with his main coach Juan Carlos Ferrero.
The Paris Masters 1000 is one of the huge tournaments that the Spanish star is still missing, along with other events such as Shanghai and Canada (Toronto and Montreal). Having a bye in the first round, Alcaraz will make his debut in Paris on Tuesday 28 or Wednesday 29 October.
