In a recent interview with Dean Moses of amNY, the AEW President made it clear that international expansion is a big part of the companys future. After already breaking records in the UK and holding successful events in Cardiff, Wales, Khan says he wants to keep the momentum going across the continent.
Khan emphasized that while the United Kingdom has been good to AEW, theres plenty more ground to cover overseas.
AEWs success with annual overseas tripsincluding a recent expansion into Australiahas proven that international fans are more than ready to support the product. With return events in England and Wales already confirmed for December, it sounds like AEW is just getting started in Europe.
