AEW has a lot of fans who wanted to watch WrestleDream. Sadly, that didnt happen without frustration for a number of fans.
AEW WrestleDream 2025 went down on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at the Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis, Missouri. We saw a lot of things go down, including Stings return in the main event. However, Amazon Prime wasnt the best place to stream the broadcast.
For some reason, AEW fans had a lot of issues streaming WrestleDream on Amazon Prime. This was something that many fans spoke on, so it didnt seem to be an isolated issue.
It seems that the issues started with the main event for a lot of fans. One of them posted on X to say, I ordered AEWs WrestleDream through Amazon Prime and all Im seeing is a blank screen during the main event. They also tagged Amazon in their post.
Another fan posted to say, Amazon Prime cut Wrestledream mid match during the main event. $50 and didnt even get to see it all. This fan was not happy at all, and they accented their post with an angry emoji.
One fan was not happy at all, and they used X to vent. They said, Really disappointed that @PrimeVideo cut out completely during #Wrestledream tonight. So hbomax subscribers got to watch the biggest match of the night but prime subscribers got screwed. Such bullsh*t.
Other fans were looking for a bootleg link so they could stream the pay-per-view illegally. This was obviously not the end to the night that these fans were anticipating when they settled down for a long night of AEW action.
We will have to see if AEW issues refunds, or if anything else is done to rectify this situation. Anyone who ordered WrestleDream on Prime will certainly have proof to show to their bank that there were a lot of fans who couldnt watch the event properly.
