Reality of Wrestling is stepping aside to honor the end of an era. On October 15, 2025, Booker T announced that ROWs annual SubZero event will be pushed back one week all to avoid clashing with John Cenas final WWE match on December 13.
The WWE Hall of Famer shared the update directly on Twitter, confirming that SubZero has officially been moved from December 13 to December 20.
Booker explained that some moments in wrestling demand undivided attention, and Cenas retirement is one of them.
Cenas farewell match, which is set to take place at Saturday Nights Main Event in Washington, D.C., is already being billed as one of the most expensive ticketed events in WWE history with front row seats reaching $11,500. But the attention its drawing across the industry now extends beyond WWE itself.
Booker Ts decision to reschedule SubZero shows just how much respect Cena commands. Rather than split fans or media coverage, ROW is giving the night entirely to Cena a rare gesture in an industry where competition usually reigns.
