After training at home for a couple of days, world no. 1 Carlos Alcaraz is ready to chase the Six Kings Slam title in Riyadh. Carlos arrived in Riyadh on Tuesday night European time, having enough time to prepare for the semi-final duel against Taylor Fritz or Alexander Zverev.

Last year's finalist will try to score two victories and take home the record-equalling $6 million in prize money! Carlos claimed the ATP 500 Tokyo crown a couple of weeks ago, extending his brilliant run.

However, he injured his left ankle in the first match and withdrew from the Shanghai Masters to preserve his body ahead of the remaining tournaments of the season.

Alcaraz has been a player to beat since April. The 22-year-old has reached nine consecutive finals since Monte Carlos, lifting seven trophies, five notable ones and two at the ATP 500 level.

That run has made him world no. 1 for the first time since 2023, dethroning his potential Six Kings Slam final rival, Jannik Sinner, after beating him in four of five times in the title matches since May.

Carlos ousted Jannik in four sets in the US Open title match, celebrating in New York for the first time since 2022 and becoming world no. 1. The Spaniard will almost certainly claim his second year-end no. 1 honor, having built a massive advantage over Sinner on the ATP Race list.

A year ago, the two great rivals met in the Six Kings Slam final following victories over Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic. Jannik prevailed 6-7, 6-3, 6-3, turning the tables after the opener and taking home the biggest prize money in tennis history.

Carlos will try to use his momentum and outplay the field this weekend.
